WALTHAM, Mass. - February 28, 2002 - Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX), today announced that the Norway based Agresso R&D AS (a Unit 4 Agresso NV company), a software developer and supplier of business software solutions, has selected Lionbridge as its group-wide localization partner. Lionbridge has been engaged to localize the online help, reference manuals and customer training materials for the Agresso ERP software suite, AGRESSO Business World, into German, French, Norwegian, Swedish and Dutch.
Agresso selected Lionbridge based on its international presence, language breadth and proven expertise in ERP software. This combination enables Agresso to maintain consistent, high-quality content across geographies. It also allows Agresso to realize significant cost savings by providing customers access to on-line self help in their native language, thereby eliminating costly calls to the support center.

To streamline the localization process, Agresso is implementing LionView™, a team collaboration project portal that serves as a central information repository for all participants in the translation, management and approvals processes. LionView enables Agresso managers to efficiently track the localization process and access project and budget status in real time.
