Lionbridge Chief Sales Officer Wins International Stevie™ Award for "Best Sales Executive"

Edges Out More than 500 Nominations Worldwide to Win Prominent International Award

WALTHAM, Mass — March 4, 2004 — Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX), today announced that Paula Barbary Shannon, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer of Lionbridge has won the International Stevie Award for Best Sales Executive. The International Business Awards are the first global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace.

Almost 500 nominations from companies and individuals in more than 30 countries and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in several categories. As Lionbridge's chief sales officer, Paula was recognized for her outstanding leadership and sales achievements in 2003 and her continued commitment to innovation, integrity and excellence.
