Lionbridge Expands Management Team
Former Storage Networks CIO to Enhance Lionbridge Offshore IT Services Strategy and Drive Continued Company Growth
WALTHAM, Mass. — December 16, 2003 — Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX), a leading provider of globalization and testing services, today announced that David Flanagan has joined the Company as vice president and Chief Information Officer. Flanagan will oversee the deployment of Lionbridge's operational information technology capabilities, including its worldwide solution centers, internal applications and infrastructure and customer support.
With more than 20 years experience in IT services development and delivery, systems integration, business development and technical management, Flanagan brings additional technical and operational expertise to Lionbridge's proven executive leadership team.
In his most recent position as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Services for Storage Networks, Flanagan directed the delivery of the Company's managed, consulting, and customer Support Center services. He was also responsible for the company's internal technology strategy, and Web/e-commerce initiatives. During his tenure at StorageNetworks, he directed the build-out of infrastructure in regions around the world and implemented enterprise-wide systems including customer relationship management tools and end-to-end enterprise planning solutions.

Prior to joining StorageNetworks, Flanagan directed all IT infrastructure at International Integration Inc. He also worked for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he designed and developed BCG's Web-based Knowledge Management Application, a search engine allowing consultants to search worldwide for cases, materials, staff and experts in specific fields within the firm. Flanagan began his career in software development where he wrote software for companies such as Wang Laboratories, Liberty Mutual, and the First State Management Group.
