Lionbridge Fortifies Management Team with the Addition of Chief Operating Officer for Global ADM and VeriTest
Reflects Increasing Demand for Lionbridge Testing and Development Services Worldwide
WALTHAM, Mass. – April 19, 2004 – Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX), a leading provider of globalization and testing services, today announced that Satish Maripuri has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer for its VeriTest and ADM (application development and maintenance) business units. Maripuri will lead and manage the global day-to-day operations of VeriTest and ADM, including worldwide program management, client service and outsourcing services.
Maripuri brings with him more than 15 years of experience in building and growing successful software and services organizations. Lionbridge will leverage his expertise in general management, international operations, customer service, product engineering, and sales and marketing, to facilitate growth and drive efficiencies for the VeriTest and ADM businesses.

Most recently Maripuri was senior vice president of business development for Imprivata, a provider of identify and access management security solutions, where he developed the company's business model and go to market strategy, and led the company’s sales and channel development success. He also spent seven years at eXcelon Corporation, formerly Object Design, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer leading all aspects of the company’s business operations and strategic direction including international expansion, mergers and acquisitions, channel development and the launch of the company’s global consulting services.
Maripuri is a frequent speaker on enterprise commerce infrastructure, XML standards and management. He will help Lionbridge create new programs to build on its industry-leading best practices in testing and development outsourcing.
