Instructions

Submitting your product for this test is a simple process:

1. Ensure your application meets Microsoft's requirements
2. Register for testing at VeriTtest
3. Send us your application
4. Your test results and next steps with Microsoft

1. Ensure Your Application Meets Microsoft's Requirements

Review Microsoft's Technical Requirements to determine if your application meets the criteria. Complete a SQL Exposure Document (SED) to help our testers expose various features in your application.

Please note that only released versions of commercially available products can be submitted for testing.

2. Register for Testing at VeriTest

Note that you can pay by credit card on the site or mail us a check. We must receive payment before we can begin the test.

3. Send Us Your Application

There are three ways to send us your application for testing. Whichever way you choose, it is important to include the tracking number you received during online registration.

• Ship your application: Write your Tracking Number on a CD or DVD of your application. We will verify payment and an email confirmation will be sent with the test lab address. If you have questions about your test lab location, please email sqlcert@veritest.com.

• Provide a URL for your application: Include a URL where we can download your application when you sign up on our online registration. Be sure to include any license or unlock keys.

• FTP your application: For FTP instructions, please email sqlcert@veritest.com. Include your tracking number and the approximate file size of your application.

VeriTest will confirm the start date you requested during the Registration process, upon receipt of the following:

1. Complete Registration Form

2. The product to be tested (via mail, URL or ftp)

3. Payment (credit card or check - see our Pricing page for details)

4. Your test results and next steps with Microsoft

When testing has been completed on your application (typically 10-15 working days), you will receive an email with your result and your Product ID number for use with the Microsoft Partner Program.  If your result is a fail, you will receive notification on next steps.
