The Microsoft Windows group provides many valuable marketing benefits to ISVs who earn the Certified for Windows designation.

Microsoft Partner Program
Every ISV whose application earns any one of the Certified for Windows designations on Windows Server 2003 gains points toward membership in Microsoft's Partner Program which includes the benefits listed on the Microsoft Partner Program site.

The Value of Certification

Certified Products Carry the Microsoft Endorsement. This speaks of both product quality and partner relationship with the world's biggest software company. Any product associated with a Microsoft endorsement sells more because enterprise groups buy stability and success. Enterprise purchases are made with standards, such as "Certified for Windows," in mind.

Independent Quality Verification. Tell the world that your product has been tested by experts and shown to exhibit high quality and dependability. You will sell more product to enterprises that are looking to decrease their total cost of ownership and lower their up-front risk of purchase.
