Pre-Certification Tests and Consultation
Regardless of where you are in the product development lifecycle, VeriTest Pre-Certification services help you complete the Windows Certification process faster by providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the Windows Application Specification and Test Plan prior to submitting your application for testing.
Option 1. Technical Review of Windows Application Specification (1 day)
We provide a technical review of the application specification and test plan (methodology and test environment), giving your QA and/or Development teams the opportunity to get answers to their specific questions.
The optimal time for this service is during the early stages of your development cycle. It helps you understand the specifications with regard to your product, and can also help you choose which of your applications should be submitted for product certification.
Option 2. Top Ten Common Fail Areas (2 days)
This is a hands-on evaluation of your application against a subset of the application specification, based on the top ten failing areas.
Option 3. Server / Standard Edition (up to 3 days, depending on product complexity)
This hands-on assessment is for applications developed for Windows Server 2000 and Windows 2003 Standard Edition.
Option 4. Advanced Server / Enterprise Edition (1-2 days)
This hands-on assessment is for applications developed for Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. If you're developing an application at the Advanced or Enterprise levels, your best bet is to choose Options 3 and 4.
Option 5. Datacenter Server (1-2 days)
This hands-on assessment is for applications developed for Windows 2000 Datacenter Server or Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition. If you're developing an application at the Datacenter level, your best bet is to choose Options 3, 4 and 5.
Option 6. Custom Engagements
The above five options fit most customers' needs, but if you're looking for something a little different, just let us know.
