Test Period
The turnaround time for this test is 2-4 calendar weeks, depending on the Windows edition(s) your product is tested on. Once we receive the required deliverables, your product will be queued for testing. (We will make every effort to match the preferred date you indicated during the registration process.) Please refer to the Instructions page for details on submission process and requirements. You can expect to receive your test results within the turnaround time listed above.
Language Categories
You need only test your application version once in each of the three language categories below, and then you may use the logo on same-version copies of your product in any of the interface languages within the category. Each language category must be tested separately as a new test.
If your application is written in Unicode and targeted for Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 only, you need only test it once, and then you may use the "Certified for Windows" logo on any language version.
Single-Byte. English, German, French, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Czech, Slovenian, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Turkish, Slovak
Double-Byte. Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese
Complex Script. Arabic, Hebrew, Thai
Suites of Applications
Please note that suites are generally priced as collections of applications and each application is charged separately. There is also an additional charge for a "Suite Integration Test." For special cases, please email WindowsCert@veritest.com. VeriTest may require additional turnaround time for large suites or collections.
