Certified for Microsoft Dynamics® Customer Evidences

The solution must have at least 10 Microsoft Dynamics customer evidences associated to the solution.
Summary and Intent
The customer evidences verify that the solution is in use by customers who are willing to recommend the solution and provide a reference. This is the market validation of the solution. A Microsoft executive can also recommend your solution for certification.
How to Comply
A total of 10 customer evidences are necessary from the combination of the following options:
- Basic Customer References (minimum 6)
Customer references are accepted for all solution versions running on the current version and one version prior of the Microsoft Dynamics product. When upgrading your certification on a newer Microsoft Dynamics product, we also accept customer references on the last three versions of the Dynamics product for 6 months after the general availability of the newest Dynamics product. - E-mail references: Submit your references to VeriTest, Microsoft’s independent third-party vendor on the Validation Checklist. They will validate the references by directly contacting your customers via e-mail.
- Microsoft Partner Program (MSPP) References: Submit your customer references in the Partner Solution Profiler for the MSPP Partner Membership Center - see pages 26-29 of the Step-by-Step Guide to Solution Profiling. The customer needs to use your solution going through the certification process. After the customer's approval, you will need to go back to the Partner Membership Center and check the box beside those references you would like to associate with your solution. When profiling your solution in Solution Profiler, you will be asked to select the countries where your solution is available. Your solution will only be visible on country specific Dynamics Solution Finder sites if you have 2 or more customer references in that country.
- Microsoft Dynamics (CRP) Customer Reference Program
Double your reference totals!
The Microsoft Dynamics CRP highlights the real-life results of successful customers and connects them with potential prospects who may be facing similar challenges. It provides you with an opportunity to share the success of your customer and your solution through customer-to-customer engagements, case studies, PR, speaking opportunities, and more.
By choosing this option, you can register the same customers that you submitted for Basic Customer References, therefore doubling your customer evidences with the same customer.
Please get a verbal agreement from your customer that they are willing to recommend your solution for the program. Download the nomination form for the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Reference Program from PartnerSource (the website requires separate log-in).
Send your Dynamics CRP nomination forms to dynaref@microsoft.com. Please note that customers will be contacted in English or in one of the major Western European languages. Feel free to submit as many customer references as you wish but for CfMD customer evidences, we will only consider max. 4.

- Customer case studies
Work with your local Microsoft marketing contact to apply. Those case studies will qualify for CfMD which meet the following criteria: need to be approved by Microsoft, posted on www.Microsoft.com/CaseStudies, related to a Microsoft Dynamics product, focused on the customer, and refer to the solution going through the certification process. (See a sample case study). Download the nomination form for Microsoft Customer Reference Program from PartnerSource (the website requires separate log-in). By choosing this option, you can register the same customers that you submitted for Basic Customer References, therefore doubling your customer evidences with the same customer.
- Microsoft Executive Nomination (max. 2)
Work with your local Microsoft contact to get a director level Microsoft Dynamics executive to nominate you for CfMD. Once you have the verbal agreement, you will add the contact information of the Microsoft executive on the Validation Checklist for VeriTest. They will contact the executive via e-mail for validation.
Validation Methodology
Customer evidences are accepted for all partner solutions running live on the current tested version and one version prior to the current tested version of the Microsoft Dynamics product. After you have 10 customer evidences, you can submit them to VeriTest, Microsoft’s independent third-party vendor on the Validation Checklist who will validate them.
Criteria for Passing
You could use the same customers several times toward the 10 customer evidences as long as you use at least 6 different customers for the 6 Basic Customer References. For example you could have a Basic Customer reference from Customer A, register the same customer for the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Reference Program and also do a case study with them. By doing this, you satisfy 3 out of the 10 customer evidence requirements with the same customer, therefore getting triple evidences with the same customer. Or you could just simply choose to have VeriTest validate your 10 customer references via e-mail.
Fewer than 10 valid customer evidences mean that the solution will fail the Certified for Microsoft Dynamics validation.
