Certified for HP-UX

The Certified for HP-UX program offers third party vendors a highly-effective, independent program for proving full product interoperability with Hewlett-Packard's powerful HP-UX platform. As part of this effort, VeriTest is pleased to be the only independent laboratory authorized by HP to certify peripherals for the HP Hardware Provider Program (HPHP).

As operators of the HPHP program, VeriTest exercises third-party technologies, including Network Interface Cards and Host Bus Adapters, against the entire suite of HP-UX based server architectures and operating systems.

We use industry standard tools as well as Hewlett-Packard proprietary functionality, stress, compatibility, interoperability, resource usage, and performance test suites. All tests, which are executed against strict standards created by Hewlett-Packard, are performed at the VeriTest Storage Lab, located just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. Requests for testing are evaluated by Hewlett-Packard.

Products which successfully complete testing qualify for the prestigious Certified for HP-UX logo. Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) with certified products are eligible to join the Hewlett-Packard Hardware Provider Program. The HPHP program provides many technical and marketing benefits, including decreased time to market, improved customer confidence, and increased global market presence. Hewlett-Packard lists certified products on the Hewlett-Packard website, includes them in the Hewlett-Packard solution catalogs, and educates HP field sales reps and resellers on their availability.
