How long have you been at Lionbridge?
What does a typical work day look like for you?
Hit the gym, then get into the office early and grab a morning coffee.
Scan through any emails that have come through overnight and take a walk around the building to catch up/check in with various colleagues to identify any pressing matters or items that may require focus for the day.
Begin working through the emails and items as the day progresses depending on priorities, attending meetings to ensure customer deliverables stay on track and any issues get resolved.
If time allows on the occasional day, head out for a run with some of the team at lunch to clear the mind and prepare for the afternoon. When possible, meet up with some colleagues for a mid-afternoon coffee & chocolate break. 😊
What is your favorite place in your office?
Out the front of the office, on a lovely sunny summer’s day (on the seldom occasion we get them), watching people fishing on the river Moy.
What is the best part of your job?
Working with and learning from talented people to deliver for and excite our customers at every opportunity.
Having the opportunity to regularly visit our customers and meet with them face-to-face to discuss program performance, how we may be able to perform better, offer insights, discuss any additional opportunities that may be on the horizon, and further strengthen our partnership.
Fill in the blanks:

My favorite local saying is ______

A tourist visiting my city shouldn’t miss…
Our world-famous river Moy that runs outside our office, renowned for its salmon fishing.
Belleek woodland is within a 15-minute walk from the town, it’s really nice for taking a stroll and getting some fresh air. A few minutes’ drive from town gets you to our beautiful coast line, which is lovely to take a drive or a walk on the beach or many cliffs and take in the views and sea air to relax and unwind.
My coworkers say my weirdest habit is…
I’m not sure, you’d have to ask them. 😉
Outside of work, I always make time for…
My family, and heading off to watch our county GAA team play Gaelic Football—Up Mayo!!!
The best piece of career advice I’ve ever received is…
Pause and think, understand the ‘why,’ and always have the best interests of your customer(s), both internal and external in your mind as you complete the task or make a decision. Be approachable and personable and use your strengths where possible to offer support and help your peers and customers prosper and grow.
Delighting our customers every single day and working with such amazing and talented people make me roar.
