Prior to founding Lionbridge in 1996, Cowan was executive vice president and member of the Management Committee for R.R. Donnelley & Sons. He also was chief executive officer of Stream International Inc., a multi-billion dollar division of R.R. Donnelley. Cowan joined R.R. Donnelley in 1988 as senior vice president of the Documentation Services Group, and later became group president.
Prior to Donnelley, Cowan was president and chief executive officer of CSA Press of Hudson, Mass., a 1986 acquisition of R.R. Donnelley. He also held positions at Compugraphic Corporation, in Wilmington, Mass., and London, England.
Cowan is currently a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of LoJack Corporation (NASDAQ: LOJN). He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sielox LLC and a member of the Board of Directors of Invoke Solutions. Cowan is a member of the Board of Trustees of Deerfield Academy. Cowan served as Chairman of Interleaf until its sale to Broadvision; Chairman of FairMarket until its sale to eBay and Chairman of NewsEdge Corporation until its sale to Thompson. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Webline until its sale to Cisco.
Cowan received his A.B. and M.B.A. from Harvard University.
John Fennelly serves as the President and CEO of Lionbridge. Joining the organisation in July of 2017, John brings over 30 years of leadership experience across industries.
Prior to joining Lionbridge, John served as the CEO of HireRight, a $400 million HR technology services company. At HireRight John achieved growth across both earnings and revenue and was known as an exceptional leader, who has a clear focus on culture, people, and customers. John has also held executive leadership positions in larges services organisations, including Thomson-Reuters where he was the Global Managing Director of Wealth Management.
Matt is a Managing Director in H.I.G. Capital’s New York office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and executing post-closing growth, operational, and add-on acquisition strategies. Matt currently serves on the boards of several H.I.G. portfolio companies including Surgery Partners and A10 Capital and focuses on investments in the business services sector.
Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2009, Matt worked with private equity firms including Behrman Capital and Audax Private Equity focusing on late stage buyouts and recapitalisations. Matt began his career as a consultant with Bain & Company.
Matt received his undergraduate engineering degree from M.I.T. and his M.B.A. from Wharton.
Aaron is a Principal in the Middle Market Fund of H.I.G. Capital. Based in San Francisco, Aaron is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, financing, and executing investments as well as helping portfolio companies with their growth and operational improvement efforts. Aaron serves on the boards of HelpSystems, Lionbridge, and TLC Vision and focuses on investments in the Technology, Media, and Telecom sectors.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Aaron was a Vice President at Summit Partners and American Securities and served on the boards of Unison Site Management, Presidio Holdings, Robertson Aviation, and Stride and Associates. Aaron was also previously the co-founder and CEO of a mobile enterprise software company. Earlier in his career, Aaron was an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army and served in Iraq, Bosnia, and Korea.
Aaron received his undergraduate degree from West Point and earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Arjun is a Vice President in H.I.G. Capital’s Middle Market Fund, based out of San Francisco. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, financing, and executing investments as well as helping portfolio companies with their growth and operational improvement efforts. Arjun currently serves on the boards of several H.I.G. portfolio companies including Lionbridge and HelpSystems and focuses on investments in the Technology, Media, and Telecom sectors.
Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2010, Arjun worked in the Investment Banking Division of Citigroup, providing M&A and capital markets services to clients.
Arjun received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and earned an M.B.A. from Wharton.
