A global automaker with high-volume translation requirements was changing their translation vendor, process, and quality standards to meet customer expectations. Adding to the complexity was they handle up to 500 multi-division translation requests per day. Not only that, they had to shift from using direct French to target-language translation to using an English pivot process.

As part of the platform roll-out, we implemented Lionbridge’s translation portal and Translation Management System. And by adding process automation and optimization, the batching solutions implemented for two divisions saved costs and optimized PM work for both client and Lionbridge.
