I’m the manager for the AI sourcing team. We support any LLM model training projects that need many contributors across different markets and verticals. My team recruits contributors to share their knowledge or expertise to help train LLMs so they can work more efficiently and better.
I love that the projects vary so much and cover such global territory. We frequently research cultures and countries to find new ways to connect with contributors. You have to be creative with this kind of sourcing; it’s not just using LinkedIn. Often, we’re not looking for a specific type of professional. We want to engage with a diverse group of people who speak a particular language. Putting an ad on LinkedIn isn’t enough for these projects, so we use various forums, groups, and websites to reach potential contributors.
For a recent project, we needed to find over a hundred contributors who spoke around 30 languages in total. We searched using a few different tactics to find these contributors and ensure they covered a variety of demographics.
We spend the majority of the day strategizing how to recruit for pending and upcoming projects. Once a project starts, we need to be ready to recruit quickly. My team also spends a lot of time liaising with the web production team. We’re constantly checking to ensure the contributors we send are meeting expectations and standards.
I just joined last January, so nearly a year. Over 2025, my team has started a number of key initiatives to address fraud. We need to make sure our contributors are always qualified to do the work we contract them for, at the quality we expect. Lionbridge really emphasizes the quality of our contributors and their work for AI training customers.
We are consolidating our team processes and sharpening our expertise in fraud prevention. It’s critical that we only use contributors who are prepared and qualified to do the work we recruit them for. Unfortunately, there are people who try to get recruited to complete work they’re not capable of doing. Preventing this contributor fraud is something we believe really sets Lionbridge apart when it comes to AI training services.
The opportunity to be at the forefront of the AI-driven changes in the world right now. It’s exciting to get to witness and observe from a front-row seat. This is such a fast-moving, evolving industry.
I live in Wicklow, Ireland. I love it because it’s one of the greenest parts of the country. I grew up in Warsaw and moved here for my husband. I love living here because there’s so much nature and it’s so close to the mountains. The green never fades. In my spare time, I love hiking, especially with my dogs, Ellie and Yen. (I also have two cats, Pinot and Rrusi.)
I speak English, Spanish, and Polish. I currently use English the most, especially for work and at home. I sometimes use Spanish for work, as well. I’m actually a professionally trained Spanish translator; it was my first job. I still speak Polish whenever I go back home.
