She’s passionate about creating AI solutions that didn’t exist just a few years ago. Additionally, Simone loves seeing how we can combine language and technical expertise with AI to create powerful customer services. Read more in our blog.
I'm the VP of Global Solutions at Lionbridge, where I lead the teams behind our AI and technology solutions. My focus is on ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable offerings to clients across very different industries and geographies. Global Solutions sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, Operations, and, most importantly, our customers. Successful collaboration across all those stakeholders leads to successful outcomes. It's also the part of the job I enjoy most.
The combination of people and technology. I work with talented, multidisciplinary teams across regions, and we're creating solutions that didn't exist a few years ago. There's something energizing about being at the intersection of language, culture, technology, and AI. The speed at which everything is evolving requires constant recalibration of how and what we do — and I enjoy that.
No two days look the same, and because we work across so many time zones, flexibility between work and personal time is essential. My kids would describe my day as having too much screen time, and I'd second that — fewer calls is a goal I'm working toward. If you see me on morning calls without a cup of coffee, then I've definitely forgotten something.
Winning the Bronze Stevie® for Women in AI Leadership at the 2026 American Business Awards was a real honor, especially as someone who has spent a career at the intersection of language and technology. My interest in AI grew naturally out of my linguistics background. In the localization industry, we'd already seen the adoption of NMT and TM. At the time, those felt like big changes — but their impact was not significant enough to capture the attention of C-level management. AI is different, and seemingly every company now has AI goals and initiatives. Embracing AI became a race. I'm proud of our early focus on AI-augmented solutions, which has allowed us to establish ourselves as a leader in this space.
The maturing of enterprise AI adoption. Many of our clients have moved past experimentation and are ready to scale AI across their global content operations. Lionbridge is uniquely positioned for that moment. We combine deep multilingual linguistic expertise with proven AI capabilities, thanks to Aurora AI. We can deliver outcomes others can't.
A particular new focus is validation for AI outcomes. As AI becomes more embedded in workflows, non-native speakers need data and support to validate what AI produces. Lionbridge provides exactly that. We combine linguistic and cultural expertise with AI-enabled solutions for scale.
And lastly (as you can probably tell, I'm quite excited about this question), I'm looking forward to integrating content creation at scale. AI is bringing content creation and localization into a single lifecycle, which is a big shift and opportunity for most organizations.
I started with a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from Kent State University, focused on terminology management. The natural path from there was into the localization industry. From there, I moved through sales and technology leadership roles. I quickly discovered I loved bringing new technologies to market and uniting international teams around them.
My favorite time of the year is the summer. I like the outdoors and feel lucky to live in Switzerland, where hiking and biking trails exist in abundance. Besides biking, my favorite sport is running.
