WALTHAM, Mass. – November 1, 2019 – Lionbridge Chief Security Officer Douglas Graham is one of 200 national leaders named to this year’s PrivSec200, a list of cybersecurity professionals driving the future evolution of corporate data privacy and information security. Fellow awardees include C-level execs from Intuit, American Express, Samsung, and GE.

Lionbridge, a marketing, testing, and globalization company, has offices in 26 countries and Graham’s team safeguards them all. In October, Wall Street Journal reported on a translation app the Chinese government allegedly used to steal international data. Late 2017, a different online translation app loaded Statoil employees’ personally identifiable data into Google Search without Statoil’s knowledge. “Security has always mattered to Lionbridge,” Graham says, “but this award shows how much more important protecting translation data has become to the rest of the world.”
